अमरनाथ गुफा में बनने वाले पवित्र बाबा बर्फानी का आकार इस साल तेजी से घट रहा है। 23 मई को जहां यह लगभग 7 फीट का था, वहीं 40 दिनों में यह घटकर करीब 4 फीट रह गया है। बढ़ते तापमान और मौसम में बदलाव को इसका मुख्य कारण माना जा रहा है। बावजूद इसके, श्री अमरनाथ यात्रा पूरे उत्साह के साथ जारी है। पहले दिन 12 हजार से अधिक श्रद्धालुओं ने दर्शन किए और दूसरे दिन भी यात्रियों का जत्था लगातार आगे बढ़ रहा है। यात्रा बालटाल और नुनवान-पहलगाम दो मार्गों से संचालित हो रही है।
The sacred ice Shivling, Baba Barfani, formed inside the Amarnath Cave is shrinking rapidly this year. It was around 7 feet in May but has reduced to nearly 4 feet within 40 days. Rising temperatures and changing weather conditions are believed to be the main reasons. Despite this, the Amarnath Yatra continues with great devotion. Over 12,000 pilgrims visited on the first day, and the journey continues through the Baltal and Pahalgam routes under tight security and arrangements.
